The modern enterprise talks constantly — and remembers almost nothing. As organisations standardised on Microsoft Teams and Dynamics 365, everyday conversations scattered into ad-hoc calls, WhatsApp threads and inboxes. Sixty to seventy percent of those interactions never reach the CRM systems that AI and analytics depend on. With generative AI rising, that fragmentation became structural: the smartest agent in the world is blind to data it cannot see.

The founder story

John Colgan's career runs through early banking systems, telecom platforms, cloud infrastructure and AI — with one constant: technology only delivers lasting value when it mirrors how organisations actually operate. The hardest decision was going all in on Microsoft — product, architecture and go-to-market aligned around Teams, Dynamics 365, Azure and the Marketplace. Solgari is not integrated with Microsoft. It operates natively across the stack.

Innovation & technology

Living inside Teams, Teams Mobile and Dynamics 365, Solgari captures every conversation — voice, chat, email, messaging, human- or AI-led — and writes context back to systems of record in real time. A complete conversational data layer that Copilot and every AI agent can finally trust. Deployment is configuration, not integration: purchased through Marketplace, provisioned on Azure, live the same day.

Business impact

Momentum is measured in Microsoft co-sell execution — market pull, not internal targets. Nineteen co-sell deals closed this year, fifteen more expected shortly, from sixty-eight active opportunities spanning manufacturing, healthcare, government, education, sport and financial services.

Editorial opinion

The AI gold rush has produced a thousand shovels and very little bedrock. Solgari chose bedrock: the unglamorous, indispensable data layer beneath trustworthy AI. Going all in on one ecosystem looked like risk; it was actually focus — and focus, at scale, is a moat.

AI reduces friction and improves speed. Humans remain accountable.
